4th of July

For the 4th of July, we decided to drive to the subway and go into DC to see the fireworks. We opted for the view at Arlington cemetery because we figured it wouldn't be quite as crowded as downtown. Of course, the kids needed to go to the potty just before the time for the fireworks to start, and I missed the first several. It was fun, but we missed the smoke, smell, and loud booms that usually accompany fireworks.
