We've Got a Reader

#1 has really developed into quite a reader this year.  I don't think I read this well in kindergarten.

This was this weeks favorite book!

Family Bike Ride

The kids and I decided to take a trek to a park for lunch.  Hindsight being twenty-twenty, I would have taken them to the closer park, but it worked out well, and fun was had by all.  

#1 has recently figured out the freedom of riding a 2-wheeler, and #3 has figured out the art of her 3-wheeler.  She starts it by ringing the bell, pulling on the streamers and then saying "Come on red tricycle you can do it!"  It is very funny to watch.  I had to give her assistance by pushing with the stroller on the hills.  She was very mad if I assisted on the flat parts, but she would give in on the big hills.  We have paths like these all over our neighborhood and it is great and peaceful!

I love the moments when my kids are best buds. They typically get along really well, but sometimes it is all nails and teeth!  They really can be sweet when they want to be!

Mommy's Project

Growing up, we always had a garden.  I have wanted to have my own for years, but due to moving and over all laziness and not remembering how to do anything. . . it hasn't happened.  This year, I have finally decided to just bite the bullet and get working.  I started all of my plants from seeds. The tomatoes and peppers I started inside and everything else I started right in the square foot gardens that my hubby made for me!  Here is what it looked like last week!

Front Flower bed roses.  These came in blooming like crazy this year! Some of the ends have 5-6 blossoms on them. I really don't know what they need to care for them. Any ideas?

Watching the plants grow makes me smile!  Eating the strawberries, make my kids smile! Daddy not getting any of them. . . well he wasn't smiling.

Daddy's Project Update

Daddy has been working on a deck project for the past year.  We are almost done with the bottom as of now.  Here are the pre-stone pictures and I'll post the pavers when they are sealed.

Great Anniversary Gift

Some ladies prefer chocolates and flowers, but I was very happy with my Anniversary/Mother's Day Gift.  Our good camera had died and gone the way of the technical toy graveyard, and so daddy purchased me a new toy to document all of our family fun!  He was so lucky that his picture was the first one snapped!  Here are some of our new shots!

#4 has been affectionately nicknamed "Grandpa Bill".  When he smiles, his whole face lights up and is adorable just like his Great Grandpa.  (He has also been cursed with the same widows peak!  Way cute!)

Can you tell these two apart? 

Yes, they are two different babies.

 Most people who see # 4 always see this face.  The happy smiling one. When they see him crying they are shocked that he is able to do so.  He is over all a very happy and loving baby. Even when teething.

#4 learned how to sit up in the past month or so.  He also loves to do mind puzzles as you can see above.  He at least chews them over.

#3 Fell asleep at the top of the stairs.  She is such a sweetie.  She had gotten up from her nap to go potty and then laid back down at the top of the stairs and fell asleep.

While daddy was working on the deck, he picked up some sand for under the paving stones.  The kids enjoyed playing in the back of the trailer and it kept them out of trouble.

Who's snitching my cheese?

Do these two look a like or what?  My kids eyes are now turing more green than blue.  

#1=blue,  #2 &3 = green  #4=???

Jump Rope for Heart

#1 participated in her first jump rope for heart.  She had a great time and was excited to earn money to help others. She is starting to learn how to jump rope.  Thank you to all who contributed to her adventure.
