Good Old Golden Snow Days

The kids love to eat "sticks" as they call them. I pulled the biggest ones down for them to get and they were very excited. I tried to pop the points off, but as you can tell they were still pretty good sized!

I remember as a kid how exciting it was to play outside in the snow and the cold, and it really doesn't excite me as much as it used to. Today was nice though because although it was only 22-24 degrees the sun was shining and that made it very fun!

My older kids with their sticks.

Savoring the joy!!

This was supposed to be a "HOORAY" picture, but it looks more like she is asking to get down.

My future Olympic Snow Boarder. Doesn't he just have the look??

The 15 minute process

Have you ever noticed how long it takes to get kids bundled up and ready to go outside to play in the snow?? I think it took me 15 minutes today to get them all ready to go. They were so excited because Mommy actually wanted to go outside! I guess the sun was beckoning me today!!

It amazes me how much my kids look like each other. Daddy says we have "cookie cutter" kids. It's a good thing that we have a cute cutter then!

Valentine's Day

It is hard to shop for my hubby f0r gifts because he loves computers and such, and I never know what to get and I don't want to get the wrong thing etc. . . and asking him what he wants just gets the response "Obedient Kids".. HAHAH yeah that's not going to happen what else do you want!

This year I found an idea from a the website: www.alittletipsy.com and they found the idea from www.loveactually-blog.blogspot.com

I enjoy doing crafty things because they are different, but I don't have the time or energy to create my own ideas so. . . It is nice to find people who do so that we less creative people can have something fun to do.

Their prototype didn't look like you could actually use the cube, so I cut the squares to make it possible to actually be moveable. The only thing that I didn't put into consideration is that the center square rotates around. . . and it is harder than usual. Here are pics of how it turned out!

Three Months Old and Counting

Our little Miss is 3 months old and heading straight to 4 very soon. On our Wii Fit she weights approximately 12 pounds! WOW!! She's double her birth size! It is so fun to see her try to do new things. She smiles LOTS, and has been heard once or twice to giggle like crazy. It is definitely a VERY fun stage! She has been wanting to sit up by herself lately, but hasn't quite mastered the concept. Usually she ends up folded in half.

This is Missy in one of my favorite outfits. I finally had to pack away her Newborn-3 month clothes. I'm sure that she could have fit in them for another week or so, but she has many more to get into.
