Play School

Every Tuesday and Thursday, #3 gets together with some friends for a Mommy preschool co-op that we call "Play School".  Her friends are really cute. #2 is home from preschool during this time so he gets to come when I teach.  This is our free time at the park!

How many kids can we get on the slide?

My Silly Boy

I've decided that I have one very silly and happy little boy!  He smiles so much it makes me laugh!  But, don't try to hold him because he is DEFINITELY a Mamas boy and if he doesn't have his Mama he can screech the loudest I have ever heard too!

I took 5 pictures on his little bike and each picture had his mouth in a wide open smile.

#4 decided to join his siblings in their bath.  He couldn't wait for Mama to take his clothes off so he just jumped in while she was getting #3 in.

#4 loves to get in my drawers and he thought this was a great way to get into the tin foil. . . He almost took the bottom out of the drawer!  URGH!!!

It's My Birthday!

My little baby is 1!  I guess that means he is now moving out of the baby stage!  No, he is not walking, and he really has no desire to, but he is a great climber! Several times, I have turned around to find him on my table or standing on our dining room chairs. Unfortunately, they aren't the most stable things and he has knocked them over a few times. . . so now they are parked on the carpet so they don't tip quite so easily.

Family tradition of first chocolate! I think it was a hit!

Say cheese!

At the last minute, I invited 2 or our favorite families over.  We needed the help to eat the cake, and their company is always a lot of fun!

Do you think he knows this day is about him?

Chowing down with dad!

This one may not be mine, but she is one pretty girl!  I told her that if she married #2 she could be #1's sister and she was VERY excited!

Opening presents! (You can tell it is #4 when the baby doesn't really NEED anything and you just get something for fun. He loves his new legos and chase behind car.  His friends brought him an awesome book and car!

Play School Fun

I joined some friends who were getting together to have a co-op play school. We have 8 kids in our group. The ages are from 2-4. They get together twice a week to learn different subjects and to play together. Here is my session.  I tried to make a little order, but it was fun chaos at times

I took them to the park, and they were told to stay in a line or we would have to come home. They did a great job!

Apple Picking

I had a goal this year to get out and pick some apples so that I could make apple sauce.  I finally made it with a good friend!  We had a great adventure! The kids were in heaven, and I decided I want to move to the country.  Is it crazy to want to sell my house already and move to somewhere that is gorgeous!  I decided I would live across the road, let the farm grow everything and I would just walk over to buy it! YUMMY!

Awesome View!

Reward Program

I've been working on a good reward program for my kids. I decided to get two birds with one stone. I don't like having them watch TV or play computers all day, but they LOVE those activities. So, I let them earn stickers for doing things that they need to do (i.e. The two middle kids for going potty and staying dry and the oldest for helping out with things the youngest can't do. . .) So, far so good.  They get 5 minutes for every sticker and typically they only get 3-4 a day. They can share their time and that is fine.  Their favorite is disney junior. They will watch a show on there for 30 min and they each use 2 stickers. I think it is a win/win.  But, that's just me!

Promotion Ceremony

We've had some family request photos from daddy's recent promotion ceremony. So. . . here goes.  Enjoy.

Cookies made by a good friend!  She did a fabulous job!

My cute little one! He was filthy afterward! But happy!

This picture was classic. #2 put ice on #3's head and then covered his ears to her wailing and thinking that got him off the hook.
